Art & Architecture

During my years in London, I drifted away from classical art and fell in love with the London City's architecture. Clean, straight, and simple yet extremely complex buildings sparked an infinite curiosity into modern art.

London has a vast number of modern art galleries which I frequently visited, and made me start my own creations. Since then, I've visited some of the most important art display centers in New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, and London.

My artistic inspiration is deeply influenced by painters like Mark Rothko, Fernando Zobel, and Gustavo Torner, as well as visionary architects such as Santiago Calatrava and Frank Lloyd Wright.

While visiting galleries around the world, I started experimenting with how music could bond with art, and I found my nexus between them. Music that expands your perception of what you see, and transforms the experience into a multi-sensory journey, became a central theme in my artistic exploration.

Music

Music is a fundamental part of who I am, shaping and inspiring me. I see music as a means to journey within oneself, to create and to explore. During my upbringing and teenage years, I was exposed to a wide range of musical styles, with a particular emphasis on classical, piano, and jazz music.

As the years unfolded in London, the UK electronic music scene intricately enriched my musical core. During my university days, I developed a keen passion for a subgenre of Jungle music, known as "Drum and Bass". The energetic pace of 174 beats per minute was a constant companion, keeping me invigorated through the challenges university, but most importantly, life.

As my time at university drew to a close, so too did the student lifestyle, paving the way for the onset of my professional career and the exploration of my true passions. With this transition, I swiftly adopted a lifestyle marked by tidiness, thankfullness and organisation. While Drum and Bass still evokes my Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, I found myself drawn to the intricacies of patterns (not to mistake with routine), the art of organisation, and, most importantly, a spark for creativity.

This brought me to my current phase, minimal/RoMinimal house music. This sub-subgenre of electronic music captivates me with the intricate complexity inherent in its musical composition. The manner in which an abundance of synthesisers, basslines, and delicate chords can conjure such a profound emotional resonance is truly remarkable. Owing to the minimalist nature of this subgenre, I now find myself savouring even the most nuanced alterations in rhythm, timbre, or synthesis, transforming each track into a veritable masterpiece and a conduit for introspective exploration of my thoughts and ideas.

Since increasing my appreciation, I started collecting vinyls from small labels, like Berg Audio, in France, Micronica in Romania or Bondage Music in Berlin.
